As Woodwork ventures ever forward, brandishing new key artists and adventurous releases, unlocking stylistic doors yet unopened...the label's inaugural artist, Sunkissed, remains on guard, its initial inspiration, conducting deep sonic trials in the background.

Continuing right where his last outing 'Distant Past' left off, Sunkissed employs the same mechanical deep house methodology to a pair of electrified tech dub-outs.

'The Divide' laments a tragic separation between collective forces drifting out of alignment. An orchestration of molded synth stabs and melodic fragments pinned over a funky, rolling bass, it forms a horizon line... the common state that exists between sea and sky... the edge of each but a part of neither.

'Can't Erase My Love' works its way in a linear fashion, a sweeping jam with a melodic low end and a fragmented ghost chord sequence. Developing slowly, leaving room for mix layers, the track fills out mid way, completing the perfect picture of a cohesive, multi-layered riff with crafty variations.
