Live performance has been the single most important influence on the music of Sunkissed and the concept of Woodwork Recordings. A state of mind commanding an arrangement of elements into a unique moment of musical communication. As a multi-instrumentalist, Peter Grove has been chasing the evolution of this concept whether manipulating a guitar, a drum kit, an analog synthesizer, a drum machine, a midi controller or a mixing console, searching for expressions that bring composer, arranger, performer, and engineer into the moment.
This studio live performance contains several of the recorded works of Sunkissed and Peter Grove, but they are presented here in their original format as improvised segments in a live performance, arranged and manipulated on the fly, always mixing and unfolding in new combinations.
